This distribution is neither market volume nor an on-time rate. It only shows the time between reservation creation and scheduled pickup in Samuelz airport-related records.

More than half sat in the planned range. Assistants and hotels benefit from an early, forwardable confirmation frame.

Short notice is not a rounding error. It needs an honest availability check, not a silent service promise.

Middle 50%: 2.8 to 22.7 days

The broad middle window explains why rigid “always early” or “always spontaneous” narratives miss the operational reality.

Method, source and clear limits.

How the count was built

  • Tenant-bound Samuelz reservations from 19 May 2023 to 28 July 2026.
  • Airport relation through MUC, “airport” or “Flughafen” in pickup or destination.
  • Booking window = scheduled pickup minus creation timestamp; two negative values excluded.
  • Only aggregate buckets and percentiles are published.

What the data does not prove

  • No claim about the total Munich market.
  • No on-time or failure rate.
  • No vehicle recommendation from passenger count alone.
  • No personal or individual booking records.
